I’ve always enjoyed meeting people and in particular learning about their story and what motivates them. So, when I was recently given the opportunity to be an Ambassador to Solihull’s Business Biscotti networking club, it was an easy decision for me to say yes.

Working at Wider, a creative design agency based in Solihull town centre, our ethos is firmly rooted in helping build success within the local community, both commercially and socially. My role at Wider offers me a great opportunity to be actively involved in the town; supporting Solihull business growth, helping other business owners to connect with prospects and forge on-going relationships; The Business Biscotti model of networking offers a great platform and the right balance to help me do that; it was a natural fit.

Professional, Proven and Powerful

Business Biscotti was founded 10 years ago with the number one goal to bring business professionals together and build genuine relationships that lead to real business opportunities. ‘Biscottiers’ as they are known in the club, meet up and down the country in local groups, usually once a month. We use the meetings to share business referrals, support one another, raise awareness of each others services & products and most importantly share a common goal to succeed.

Business Biscotti is different to some of the other more ‘formal’ networking meetings I’ve been to in the past:

It’s friendly: there is a real down-to-earth, welcoming spirit
It’s informal: grab a coffee and chat without pressure
No 60-second sales pitches: there is little set structure hence no preparation required, just come along and bring a business card
Our Solihull Business Biscotti meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 09.30am – 11.30am at The World Bar within the Genting Hotel, Resorts World Birmingham.
